Financial  Needs . . . The Lakeland Concert Band had a good 2006 - 2007 season and finished "in the black".  This allowed us to pay the rental for all of our performances and  related expenses. The Lakeland Concert Band became a not for profit organization in 2001 and is still soliciting contributions.  We can furnish a 501 (c) (3) certificate to any contributor to the band. How can you help. . . We need sponsors! The cost to present a concert for the 2007 -2008 season is $1,000. Any size contribution will greatly help pay for our FREE concerts.  No one in the band receives any pay for their time and talent, including the conductors.  We play because we love music and want to see the band become one of the major cultural arts in Lakeland. We are consistently striving to enhance our performances by purchasing needed music and instruments.  We must rely on contributions to accomplish this goal.  We are very grateful for the tremendous support in the past and look forward to the continued generosity of our friends in the future.
